Everybody knows - although I am not certain you believe it is absolutely true - that you seek harmony, calmness and serenity in life so as to live according to your intentions and dispositions. My objection is that routine results into boredom, order brings ennui, and ennui reduces your need to deal with people around you. When you come out of a period of tension and you deeply realise that some things have changed, you will perhaps not look for a sun-bed at the beach to spend the coming days. You have the opportunity to challenge and break existing balances, to question others’ facts, which include your own being, and to intrigue the interest of people you do not know but you would like to learn more about.
